Terms of Use

Last updated: August 23, 2026

1. What Match101 is

Match101 is an educational and career-planning tool for people navigating the residency Match: program research, application tracking, interview practice, and mentorship. Match101 does not provide medical care, medical advice, legal advice, or immigration advice, and nothing in the product should be treated as any of those.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your credentials private. You may close your account at any time by contacting support; we will delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations.

3. Program directory data

The program directory is compiled from publicly available accreditation data published by the ACGME, including each program's listed director and professional contact details, and is supplemented by Match101's own editorial notes on selected programs. This information is provided as-is, for research convenience only. It may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect, and programs change directors, contact points, accreditation status, and policies at any time.

Always verify details with the program directly and through official sources (FREIDA, ERAS, NRMP, ACGME) before relying on them in application decisions. If you represent a program and want a listing corrected or a contact detail removed, tell us via in-app support and we will act promptly.

4. Editorial guidance

Notes such as IMG-friendliness or visa history reflect Match101's editorial judgment based on publicly available information and community knowledge. They are opinions to guide your research, not statements of fact or guarantees about how a program will treat any application.

5. AI features

Interview scoring, coaching chat, and question narration are generated by artificial-intelligence models. They can be wrong, incomplete, or generic. Treat them as practice feedback, not as professional assessment, and never as medical advice.

6. Your content and patient privacy

You own the content you create on Match101 — answers, recordings, documents, and messages. You grant us the limited rights needed to store and display it back to you and to anyone you explicitly share it with. Do not include information that could identify a real patient in anything you write, record, or share on Match101; keep clinical stories de-identified, consistent with your obligations to your school and training sites.

7. Sharing with mentors

Sharing your interview prep with a mentor is your choice, made per mentor, and revocable at any time. Mentors receiving access agree to use it only to support the student who shared it.

8. Acceptable use

Do not misuse Match101: no scraping or bulk-extracting the directory, no harassing program staff using contact details found here, no impersonation, and no attempts to access other users' data. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Match101 is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Match101 is not liable for decisions made in reliance on information in the product, including directory data, editorial guidance, or AI-generated feedback, nor for indirect or consequential damages. Application outcomes depend on many factors outside this product.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Questions or requests: use Contact support inside the app.
